"We booked Phil to do an acoustic set during our drinks reception and then for him and The Headliners to perform in the evening after our wedding breakfast. Honestly, 5 stars isn’t enough - Phil and the band were amazing. Phil’s acoustic set gave the perfect atmosphere for the drinks reception, and the band in the evening were unbelievable. The dance floor was packed for the entire time they were playing. We were almost an hour late for our first dance and Phil and the band were so professional and understanding and played one of best sets I’ve ever seen. They even learned our first dance song for us and also played a couple of requests I put in that weren’t on their set list. Could not recommend enough if you want a band to play at your wedding or party. Will certainly be using them again if the occasion calls for it! "

Good question! There are essentially three types of function band performances: headline, background, and roaming. Headline bands are the most common; perfect for filling the dancefloor and getting the crowd moving. Background function bands are usually jazz bands - they can provide a great ambience for whatever event you might have in mind. Roaming bands are great for outdoor weddings or events where you want the band to get around to all the guests and provide a bit of audience interaction.
