To date, the band has performed throughout the UK, Europe and Asia. The band line up includes both male & female lead vocals, plus live Saxophone. They perform a wide range of music, from Motown classics to modern dance and pop music, all designed to get everyone dancing and singing from the first note, whatever the event. Using the latest multitrack technology live, they are able to authentically perform a wide range of music, including modern dance and pop music, with a mixture of classic dance floor anthems for all ages. Thanks so much to The Icono Band for playing at our wedding a few weeks ago. They sounded fantastic and the songs had all our guests dancing. We booked them at relatively short notice but they were really responsive and liaised directly with the venue for us.

A huge thank you for such a great evening, the whole process was very smooth and professional. The setup at the venue was also fantastic and performances were just... Well people are still talking about it! :) If you are choosing this band you don't even need a DJ, they take care of everything seamlessly.

New Year's Eve4 musicians

Our New Year's Eve package is very popular, we provide the 4 piece band plus a custom made video & audio countdown for the midnight celebration, this can be tailored to your event to include your name / logo and much more. Included in the fee are 2 x 70min performances from the band, plus pre custom made DJ mixes for the whole evening. The band have performed regular NYE shows in London on the River Thames since 2010, so have experience on what it takes to make your NYE party a success, including overseeing the countdown to midnight.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The live sound quality, musicianship, setlist and engagement with the audience, plus we have a live Sax player which really transforms the live sound. Every event is unique so we try to make each and every event we perform at as good as it can be from the initial enquiry to the last song played.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Too many to list, highlights include: NEC Birmingham, Hyde Park, Stamford Bridge Stadium, The Etihad Stadium, Somerset House, Goodwood Festival, Blenheim Palace, Imperial War Museum, The Ritz, Café de Paris, Whitehall Place We have performed as far afield as the Middle East, plus some amazing venues in Europe including Lake Como, Italy & South of France.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Mike the band leader has performed internationally, including London's Wireless Festival, a Royal wedding in Jordan, and throughout the UK & Europe with the band, alongside performing for a number of celebrity events. The band has also performed at most of the UK's most iconic venues, including HMS Belfast, Somerset House, 1 Whitehall Place, Blenheim Palace.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to ensure the singer featured in the video is the singer who will be performing at your event. The only times this would change is due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the band leader's control. In which case the show will go on, we have a second main singer, and we have many others we can call on who we've worked with before

Do you have different line-up options?

We usually perform as a 4 piece band: Female Vocals / Guitars, Male Vocals / Guitars, Saxophone, Drums. Additional musicians can easily be added, e.g. strings, vocalists, horns. The 4 piece band are able to work both big and small stages, but sometimes our clients prefer a larger band and we will be happy to organise this for you.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are happy to work to your timings, and will be on hand in the lead up to the event to discuss the finer details, should the timing changes be significant (e.g. arrival / finish a lot earlier / later), this may affect the cost, but for most events the band is available between 7pm-midnight and can perform during these times to suit your schedule.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

The band provides exclusive pre mixed DJ sets, made by one of our experienced DJs, ensuring there is music for everything from background music over a meal, and DJ sets to keep the dancing going between and after the live performances. Alternatively we're happy to work with your own DJ or can provide a live DJ as part of our add on packages.

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually 90 minutes, but setup can be carried out in less time if needed. The setup time depends on the access to the performance area, if there is easy access with the equipment, this will greatly speed up the setup. If access / parking is difficult / up stairs this can significantly increase the setup time, so it's helpful to know in advance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

The band's setlist is carefully crafted and updated to ensure guests will be dancing and singing at a wide range of events, and to ensure the setlist flows well with transitions and different tempos. We are definitely happy to discuss any requests you may have, as we understand that every event is different.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, we include modern, theatre grade sound equipment, which is updated and invested in yearly. We have computer controlled lighting, including moving heads and LED stage lights, as opposed to budget party lighting. We carry backup equipment & everything is also PAT safety certified which is usually required by most venues.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we can learn one song for free (for example your first dance or company anthem), all we suggest is that this is suitable to be performed by the band, for example a classical song would be difficult to perform well without the additional musicians. We ask that we are given 1 month's notice to ensure we have time to learn & rehearse the song.
