Our Commitment to Combating Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
Given the nature of our operations, we assess ourselves to have a low risk of encountering modern slavery in both our business and supply chains. Nonetheless, if such a risk were to be identified, we commit to conducting regular compliance audits and taking appropriate measures for the prevention of modern slavery in our business operations and supply chains.
Our Commitments
- Ensuring that all employee salaries meet or exceed the National Minimum Wage and that all staff have the right to work in the UK.
- Encouraging employees to promptly report incidents of concern and facilitating this process through their respective managers.
- Should any of our employees or individuals and entities acting on our behalf breach this policy, we are committed to taking appropriate remedial action, including legal measures when necessary.
- We are also committed to periodically reviewing this policy. Should a change in circumstances increase the risk of it being breached, we will assess the need for additional policies and procedures to safeguard against modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chains.
We further commit to taking the following steps in 2023/2024:
- Sharing this statement with our employees and providing supplementary resources to raise awareness of the Modern Slavery Act, as well as the steps to take.
- Incorporating this statement into the mandatory reading materials for new employees during the onboarding period.
- Introducing a Supplier Code of Conduct, outlining our expectations of all our suppliers with regards to human rights and fair labour practices. This includes the expectation that all suppliers take measures to prevent all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking within their business operations.
