“These guys are phenomenal so men don’t usually get much of a choice selecting things for weddings but my partner left the music down to me. I could not be more happier with the show these dudes put on really nice blokes really great atmosphere created almost everyone was dancing and even some of the old fogies busted out some moves. I cannot recommend these guys more excellent choice by myself and all guests were complimentary of there skills. They even had time to pose for a couple of pics also. Thanks guys for being the music to our big day ”

“What a band! We booked Pop Rock Party for our wedding and they were phenomenal! When the band arrived we were off getting our photos taken, so they just cracked on and worked alongside the venue turning the room around, and also the venue's DJ setting up as well. The set list they played went down brilliantly with the guests and we didn't want them to end! All of the members of the band were professional and very talented, and the main singers voice was insane - especially when singing "I Believe In A Thing Called Love." Absolute great band, that were self-sufficient and willing to just get stuck in. Thanks for everything! ”

Can any indie band play my favourite song?

Professional indie bands will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that indie bands may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the indie band's song list on their Encore profile.

How much time do indie bands take to set up?

Your indie band will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the indie band prior to their arrival.

My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?

PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our indie bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our indie bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
