The Mixtapes

Hello! We are The Mixtapes and we are a Wedding and Function band based in Scarborough, playing across the UK and beyond. We play a large number of weddings, parties, and corporate events throughout the year and pride ourselves on being able to provide a massively eclectic range of music to suit all tastes and ages. We are happy to learn songs for events if a client would like something that isn't on our set list! Our standard package for any event includes a FREE DJ playlist service prior to, and after the live band sets. All sound and lighting is provided and we have all our electrical equipment PAT tested. Additionally we carry up £10 million pounds of public liability insurance. We work well with events management staff, and wedding planners and discretion is part and parcel. You’ll barely know we are there until we start playing! There is no need for noisy unpleasant soundchecks, everything is digitally pre-set to give you a brilliant sound from the very first song. Additionally for peace of mind we work exceptionally well in venues with sound limiters as we can use an electric drum kit if we are told about restrictions so rest assured we wont be tripping the power off, blowing what’s left of your Grandmas eardrums, or loosing the live music licence for your venue! When you book us, you’ll never deal with any management or third party, you’ll talk to us, the band! This means you’ll get clear and concise responses to any questions you may have and we can you the most personalised service possible.
