Formed out of highly successful acoustic trio Live Lounge, established in 2011, new line-up SalEnders are continuing their enviable reputation as one of the top wedding and function bands in Yorkshire. Wedding and function clients comment without fail on the unusual sound, the different instrumentation and the quirky choice of songs. Kirsty's stunning vocals blend with sweet violin lines and perfect guitar backing to create a unique combination. The band have always put great customer service as high in importance as great music and we work closely with all clients to make sure they get the experience they and their guests will love and remember. They have extensive experience with weddings and functions in both the UK and Italy, working with exclusive country house venues, blue-chip corporate clients as well as hotels, bars and restaurants that are looking for entertainment with a difference. MEET THE BAND Different ages, backgrounds, experiences and musical tastes come together to create a function and wedding band like no other. Kirsty is a professional singer, guitarist and songwriter and is passionate about live performance. She has a busy solo career but jumped at the chance to join SaltEnders on vocals in 2022. Kirsty is influenced by some of the greatest female vocalists, including Beyonce, Corinne Bailey Rae, Lady GaGa and Carole King Howard learned violin from the age of 8 but had a few proper jobs before discovering his Live Lounge colleagues in 2011. Many are fascinated by the Ned Steinberger electric 5-string he plays, combining violin and viola in one instrument. A classical background, a love of jazz and a few years of listening to all sorts provide for an unusual style of playing. Danny joined founder members Howard and Michaela in 2016 and brings a rich musical background to the band. Not only an accomplished guitarist and keyboard player, Danny is totally immersed in music – he has his own recording studio, #CitySoundStudios, in Bradford and also teaches music.
