What do your clients love most about your performances?
Our clients seem to love our song choices stating there is 'something for everyone'. We choose music from all decades and keep it upbeat to create a surprisingly full sound for an acoustic duo. Our audience always end up dancing and singing along which is exactly the atmosphere we want to ensure our clients have the best event possible.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We have vast experience performing original music at major venues such as Newcastle's o2 Academy main stage and various UK festivals over the years. However, we keep it to cover songs for most venues we play such as weddings, pubs, clubs and events.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
We are both massively inspired by great songwriters like Fleetwood Mac, Tori Amos, Jeff Buckley and many more!
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
I perform at many festivals and venues across the UK. I performed at the South Tyneside Festival which had the largest audience count of just under 30,000 people attending. This was an amazing opportunity to showcase original music.
Do you have different line-up options?
Our duo lineup is acoustic guitar, piano and vocals however we are also available individually as a solo act or an acoustic trio for different events!
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free in-between our sets. If you'd like this to continue via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for a small extra fee.
How much time do you need to set up?
We usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!
Can you roam around while you perform?
Yes - we can either perform acoustically or with microphones attached to our instruments so we can move around freely.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. We also offer add-ons where we can learn 3 specific songs for you!
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote and this works for most venues. Chat to us about any special requirements and room sizes to ensure we give you the best performance possible.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it if you ask us in advance. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn that we don't already know - we are happy to do this for you. There is an extra fee for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
