KOOSKOOS has been about providing soulful tunes to the weekend crowds of Belfast City. On stage, you'll hear drummer & lead singer Christopher McCann, along with guitarist Jordie Sunshine (Kelp) and now with bassist & pianist Philip White. The band are regulars in the top city venues such as the classic Dirty Onion, the electric Botanic Inn and the luxiouris Fitzwilliam Hotel: part soloist, part duet, part cover band and original music. In 2022, we had already participated in the City of Derry Jazz Festival and won the best live performance award at the 2022 Banbridge Buskfest.

Great! The guys are lovely - relaxed but professional. Couldn't do enough to please - it was an international event and they catered well for everyone! Guests all loved them! Thanks Kooskoos - we will definitely see you again!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our banter, we've been told we're good and down-to-earth, we hope that's true!

Everyone we play!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Technically we performed for Queen & Billie Ellish, as in they were heading out the door as we were playing in the Fitzwilliam... We also supported General Fiasco, but we were playing football on the same team... but we’ve also played for regal cigarettes and the international world judo federation.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line can switch between a 3-piece & a 4-piece. Our 4-piece usually contains a lead guitarist or saxophone player, this just depends on availability.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We're quite flexible! Just keep in touch with us and we'll do our best to make it work.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide the aux lead for your music! We’re quite flexible with requests like this. But damaged equipment may incur an additional fee depending on the extent of the damages.

How much time do you need to set up?

60 minutes with sound and lighting or 30 minutes minimum if it’s just the band.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Our bassist has a long lead!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes of course! We recommend you get in touch with your suggestions ahead of time to help us practice!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes indeed! We provide sound and lighting in our quotes. You will need to let us know if it is not required.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

YES YES YES! We're just excited to play something new! We have provided a song list here, do bare in mind we are constantly changing our set and may not have played some songs in while due to the nature of our gigs.
