Todd hired Tomos Xerri for a Wedding (available in Redbridge)

"We were absolutely delighted to have Zara perform as the harpist at our daughters’ wedding at North Mymms Park. From start to finish, she was exceptional. Zara was incredibly professional, cooperative, and accommodating throughout the entire process. She took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and tailored her performance beautifully to suit the atmosphere of the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and her calm, friendly manner made everything so easy. Her playing was simply stunning — elegant, soothing, and perfectly suited to the setting. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the music was and how much it added to the occasion. She truly helped create a magical and memorable atmosphere. We would highly recommend Zara to anyone looking for a talented and reliable harpist. She exceeded all our expectations and was a wonderful part of a very special day."

What kind of music will a harpist perform?
Harpists usually play music from a large classical-style repertoire. However, many harpists will be able to play a selection of pop music as well. Make sure to let them know ahead of time what kind of music you'd like them to play and they'll be more than happy to accomodate you!
How much space will the harpist need to perform? Do I need to provide anything?
Harpists need an area of about 2m x 3m to perform in. You will also need to be provide adequate cover for them, to protect from the sun/rain - the surface should also be flat, firm, and dry. Grass is usually a no-no, so if they are to perform on grass, make sure a solid mat is handy. Wet harp = sad harpist.
I want a harpist to perform at my wedding: which parts of the wedding should they play?
Most commonly, harpists will perform during the following parts of the ceremony: seating of the guests, entrance of the bride, signing of the registry, and the walk-out. If you want the harpist to provide music for the reception, make sure you tell them well in advance if it's at a different venue - moving a harp at short notice ain't easy!
