Gwenllian was professional from start to finish! From preparations with the venue and myself before the event, to arrival and set up, to the amazing set and selection of music, having Gwenlliam at my event was totally superb. I would recommend her highly for any event, I was thoroughly delighted!

My eldest daughter Rhiannon was getting married in August 2007. I thought it would be really lovely if we could book a Harpist to bring an extra touch of class to the day. I was given Gwenllian's email address by a friend I worked with at the time, I was so glad she did. I had the great pleasure of booking Gwenllian and I have to say, we were extremely pleased. Not only is Gwenllian a lovely young lady with a very nice personality, the music Gwenllian played on the harp was absolutely gorgeous, so nice to have in the background of the reception. In November 2016 our youngest daughter Cerian was married and thankfully Gwenllian was available to play at the reception again for us. I have to say, Gwenllian playing the harp is not only beautiful with her arrangement of music, but she also brings class and elegance to round off an already lovely day. If we had a third child getting married, I would have no hesitation in booking Gwenllian to play for us again. I am in the position, having the honour of having Gwenllian play for the two of our daughters weddings, that I can highly recommend her for any special occasion.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will do my best to accommodate the changes, but can’t guarantee I will be available particularly if the times have changed dramatically.

How much time do you need to set up?

Approximately 20 minutes, depending on the exact location from the car etc. I usually arrive 45 minutes before the start time to ensure everything is ready.

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Yes, the quote you see includes transportation.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

I need to be in a covered space to protect the harp, with a hard, dry, flat surface that’s approximately 1.5m x 1.5m.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course! I usually recommend that you choose the music for the specific parts of the ceremony: Processional (1 or 2 songs) Signing the Register (4-5 songs) Recessional (1 song) For all the other parts, I usually choose a mix from my song list but you are welcome to choose specific songs as well.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes. I often learn new songs for my couples, but ask that you give me 3 months notice to ensure I can find a suitable arrangement. I may already know the song; I only include a sample on Encore. For new songs, there is a £30 charge in order to cover music purchase/rehearsal time. Some songs aren’t suitable for harp but I’ll do my best to arrange your choice.
