"Antimo is a gifted pianist with a wonderful sense of musicality. We held onto his card after seeing him playing at the V&A four years before we got married and booked him to play as I walked down the aisle. The atmosphere was magical and we could not be happier or more grateful to have Antimo feature at the wedding. He adapted his playing to a variety of genres and moods, as well as being flexible about playing a different piano last minute. It was a real highlight of the day and we couldn't recommend him any higher to anyone else thinking of booking him. Grazie di cuore Maestro Antimo!"

FAQs about hiring Pianists in County Tyrone
Take the stress out of hiring musicians with Encore
How to hire a pianist?
Encore is the simplest way to book a pianist. On our website, you can browse through our collection of 360 professional pianists, read customer reviews, and watch videos of the pianists performing to get a sense of their style. You can submit a request on our website once you've narrowed down your options and receive quotes within a few hours. You can also speak with one of our specialists directly, answer a few questions, and receive personalised recommendations suited to your event.
Do pianists take requests?
Yes, many pianists are happy to take song requests. Encore's pianists often offer a wide repertoire of songs, from popular music to jazz standards, that they can play but they are also usually able to learn new songs relatively quickly. Whether or not a pianist is willing to take a request will depend on a number of factors, such as the complexity of the song and how much time they have to prepare. However, most pianists are happy to accommodate requests when they can, and they will often appreciate the opportunity to play a song that the client will enjoy. Please bear in mind if the song is not part of their repertoire, this may result in an extra fee to cover the time spent practising the song for the performance.
My venue doesn't have a piano - what should I do?
Most pianists will have a keyboard and speakers that they can bring to your event - some may even be able to provide a piano shell to mimic the look of a piano (however this will likely cost extra). Nowadays keyboards can sound just as good as the real thing, so don't let not having a piano stop you!
I want my pianist to sing as well. Is this possible?
Yes! Many pianists will sing and play piano - they can also do a mixture of accompanied and unaccompanied music to provide some variation to their performance! They'll most likely mention this information on their profile, as well as have links to videos showcasing their skills.
What kind of music can a pianist play?
Most professional pianists will be extremely competent in a wide range of styles/genres. It's basically up to you what you'd like them to play. Give them an idea of the types of music/songs you'd like to hear, and they'll put together a set of music you'll be sure to love!
