Vanessa was a pianist for our wedding ceremony at the West Mill where she created a lovely atmosphere. She is an excellent pianist and a lovely person. Her communication was excellent as well making booking her stress free and easy.

Vanessa was truly amazing at our wedding ceremony. She did a lovely variety of classical and hits as our guests were seated which added to the atmosphere nicely. Our ceremony, signing and exit songs were played so well and timed to rise and fade perfectly. She was able to provide all her own kit and set up which helped a lot as we had a church wedding and we werent sure what would be available. I would not hesitate to recommend Vanessa to anyone needing pianist as she is extremely professional, friendly and talented. We couldnt have picked a better person.

Vanessa was amazing at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception, we couldn't have asked for any more - lots of our guests commented on how wonderful the music was! Vanessa was brilliant for our event, she played beautifully despite our piano not being tuned beforehand as planned she worked with it and still sounded fantastic. Professional, welcoming and talented.

Vanessa is a wonderful, talented lady. She played at our wedding in October and made some lovely memories that we will treasure. whenever I hear 'A thousand years' it will remind me of Vanessa playing it so beautifully at our wedding. Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

This actually happened at a wedding I played at recently. I try to be as flexible as possible so if timings do change in the run up to the day just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Unfortunately not, my area of expertise is in the piano playing. I am always willing to ask around my musician friends for you though!

How much time do you need to set up?

I typically arrive up to an hour before the performance time to set up.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then definitely.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My set list is crafted from years of wedding performances to cater to the atmosphere accordingly. However, I am definitely happy to discuss this and if there is a particular song/songs that you would love to have at your event then, with good notice, I am happy to oblige.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes of course!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely, as long as I have plenty of notice I can do this for you for just a small fee of £30 to take into account extra rehearsal times etc.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients have always said that I bring a sentimental value to the performance - whether that has been in playing a favourite song of theirs as they walk down the aisle, writing a personalised song just for them or simply with my song choices which have been chosen to match the atmosphere of their day perfectly.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at; The Bridge Centre, Keele Hall, The Minton Centre, North Staffs Medical Institute, Breathe City Church, Longton Central Hall, The Upper House and more.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I think the more classical approaches like Yiruma and Ludovico Einaudi are very much my style, but I definitely look for inspiration wherever I can find it, and if that is in a Top 40's song then there it is!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I was fortunate enough to share the stage, Christmas 2016, with BBC gospel choir of the year winners, Manchester Inspirational Voices.
