If you are looking for a pianist for your wedding or any event I would highly recommend Andrew. From the moment we booked with him right up until our wedding he communicated well and had a short response time. Andrew also liaised with our venue directly which was a huge help. He has an eclectic repertoire and we requested a song for the professional which was not n his list however he advised he could play it. We got so many compliments from our guests too. Thank you again Andrew :)

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients love the sheer quality and variety of music I can play, ranging from Mozart to Nirvana, and everything in between! I always achieve 5-star reviews, and clients often comment on my friendly, approachable nature, my professionalism and musical talent.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at countless venues across Scotland, including : the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, House for an Art Lover, Loch Lomond Golf Club, Glenbervie House Hotel, New Lanark, the Balmoral Hotel, Oran Mor, Turnberry, Mar Hall, Carlowrie Castle, Dunblane Hydro, Gambero Rosso, Barony Castle, Sorn Castle, and many, many more.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Kyle Landry, Constantino Carrara, and Francesco Parrino.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I performed for an audience of 2,000, in a "Peace Arts" multi-cultural event in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's generally no problem, as I am very flexible. Just let me know, and I'll do my very best to accommodate you. There may be a small additional charge, if the overall duration increases.

How much time do you need to set up?

45 mins if I am supplying my piano and PA system, or 15 mins if the venue is supplying the piano. I always aim to arrive early, so that I can finish setting up at least 30 mins before I am due to start playing.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes. I can provide you with a copy of my up-to-date repertoire list beforehand. Some of my clients like to pick every piece/song from my repertoire list, others like to pick a few favourites and leave me to choose the rest, and others just leave it all up to me to choose a nice mixture. I'm happy with any of these approaches.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, absolutely! I can bring my high-quality full-size digital piano, plus small PA system, which combine to make a lovely, authentic grand-piano sound.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I'm happy to learn up to 3 songs which aren't yet on my repertoire list, for a small additional fee of £20 per song, with at least a month's notice. For example, if you're booking for a wedding ceremony, you may wish to choose something special to you for the bridal entry, signing of the register, or exit music.
