Debbie was fantastic in every way possible. Debbie communicated with us every step of the way and was committed in ensuring our expectations for the day were met and by gosh did she excel. Debbie was punctual and read the room well, all guests commented on the range of genres and how happy Debbie appeared as she played. Debbie made us and our guests feel at ease, relaxed and transported us all to the most wonderful place and we could have been anywhere in the world Debbie was that talented. Her voice was sweet, sincere and we were blown away as she sang our entrance song, the guests were teary and emotions flowing with love and joy. Please don’t hesitate to book Debbie. Debbie is not just a pianist with a wonderful voice but a ray of sunshine, the perfect escapism and cherry on the cake. Our wedding would not have been the same if we didnt book Debbie. We are forever grateful.l and wish you all the success for the future. The Thom’s xx

Debbie played at our wedding last year and was brilliant. She was so good at helping us to pick and organise all the music arrangements for the big day. She played for our ceremony and drinks reception and ensured the playlist was fitted to our style and venue. It was perfect. So many of our guests commented on her playing. She added such an elegant and sophisticated touch to our day. Her set list had such variety and I would definitely book her again for another event.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients love that I create bespoke playlists based on their likes and dislikes, ages and backgrounds. I am a happy smiling face and just love being involved in your special events. I provide beautiful, ambient music that provides the perfect atmosphere for people to relax to and enjoy - adding that extra bit of class to your special day and event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Too many to mention! With over 20 years of experience as a pianist and vocalist there are not many venues that I haven't had the privilege of playing at by now - both in Scotland and Northern Ireland (I'm a northern irish gal!)

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I once performed - specially requested - for Bill Clinton. It was my second time performing for him but he specifically requested me for the second performance. It was great fun and a real privilege to do so!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

This scenario is very common and completely understandable in the planning process. I am more than happy to accomodate any changes to timings and on the day will try to be as flexible as possible. Where possible it would be appreciated if you could provide prior warning of any changes to timings, particularly significant ones.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This is not something I am able to offer at present

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up 45 minutes prior to playing start time. This requires me to have access to the venue at this stage. This time allows me to ensure my equipment is set up appropriately and to do a few sound checks, meaning that I am ready to go for your guests arriving.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes of course! As long as the piano is in full working order and in tune, then I am happy to play on it.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

I create bespoke playlists for each event, a lot of which are crafted around countless performances and knowing what works best for guests. You are more than welcome to look through my song list and pick out favourites and any particular songs that you would like included and I will do my best to ensure this. I will also meet specific requests.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, I have my own digital piano which I use for gigs and events, where a suitable piano is not available at the venue. There is no additional charge if I am to provide my own instrument

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! I love learning and including specific song requests, particular to clients choices. There is no additional fee for this service. I love making your event/special day about you and your preferences.
