Latest reviews of our Wedding Violinists in Wokingham

"Joseph was absolutely amazing. He stepped in to play the violin for our wedding with less than 48 hours notice due to our previous booking falling through. He was so calm and lovely and really put us at ease when we were worried about things being last minute. He learnt the 4 songs we requested with no trouble and the music sounded absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much Joseph for everything! We really appreciate it. Would thoroughly recommend Joseph!! "

"Thank you so much, Elizaveta! We hired Elizaveta to play at our wedding and she was wonderful. She was easily contactable while we were planning the wedding and enthusiastic to provide exactly what we wanted. We gave Elizaveta some suggestions and she played plenty of our requests! The violin music was a beautiful touch to our wedding and I would highly recommend Elizaveta "

"Natasha played for us before and during our wedding, and she was phenomenal. We had fantastic communication prior to the event, and we felt like our music was well and truly in safe hands. We had so many compliments regarding Natasha’s performance and myself, and my partner are so grateful to her for learning new songs for us and how special the music made our ceremony. We cannot recommend Natasha highly enough – thank you! "

What kind of music can a violinist play?
Pretty much anything! Violinists will usually be most comfortable playing classical music, but that doesn't mean they won't be able whip up fresh renditions of your favourite pop, folk, or jazz tunes. Best to check first before asking them to play krautrock though.
Will I need to provide the violinist with any equipment?
Other than a seat for breaks, probably not. If your venue is small, they will likely play unamplified. All they'll need to make the music happen is their violin, a bow, and a receptive audience (oh, and probably a music stand). If your venue is larger, they should be able to provide amplification.
Do violinists normally play with backing tracks?
It depends. If you only want the violinist’s performance to include classical pieces, they probably won’t need backing tracks. If the violinist’s performance includes pop songs or other styles, they may be able to provide backing tracks to fill out their performance. They’ll often perform the melody line of popular tunes, alongside pre-prepared backing tracks (think: ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran, or ‘Skyfall’ by Adele - these songs sound great played on violin!).
