"Brillant!!! If you’re looking for a sign to book him, this is it. I book rafaelle last for the laat minute like a week before my wedding but all my requests song were all granted. He even suggested transition song while i am walking down the aisle. My guest was so amaze how good he was. He made a big difference on my registry wedding. Having him is the best choice i made for my simple wedding. Rafaelle is very approachable, he reply very quickly. You will think he is too good to be true, but he really is. What kind of music can a violinist play?
Pretty much anything! Violinists will usually be most comfortable playing classical music, but that doesn't mean they won't be able whip up fresh renditions of your favourite pop, folk, or jazz tunes. Best to check first before asking them to play krautrock though.
Will I need to provide the violinist with any equipment?
Other than a seat for breaks, probably not. If your venue is small, they will likely play unamplified. All they'll need to make the music happen is their violin, a bow, and a receptive audience (oh, and probably a music stand). If your venue is larger, they should be able to provide amplification.
Do violinists normally play with backing tracks?
It depends. If you only want the violinist’s performance to include classical pieces, they probably won’t need backing tracks. If the violinist’s performance includes pop songs or other styles, they may be able to provide backing tracks to fill out their performance. They’ll often perform the melody line of popular tunes, alongside pre-prepared backing tracks (think: ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran, or ‘Skyfall’ by Adele - these songs sound great played on violin!).
