Joey has been playing the violin since she was seven years old. Before coming to London to pursue her Bachelor of Music degree at Kings College London, she was enrolled in the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts’ Junior programme as well as being part of the Hong Kong Academy Symphony Orchestra. Joey now works with the Brixton Chamber Orchestra, Oxford Choir Harmonic orchestra, Dorking Orchestra etc. She also worked with Orquestra Sinfónica do Algarve on a 4 days tour in Portugal in May 2022. Other than classical orchestral work, Joey also works freelance in weddings, celebrations events in quartets/trios. Her solo act includes the most popular music from Elvis, club classics, to Bollywood tunes. She provides the perfect entertainment you will need in any celebration with 100% satisfaction rating from her clients.

We chosen Joey for our corporate building for the Valentine event, all tenants loved how she was playing violin. Joey was absolutely amazing, punctual and well groomed. It was a pleasure to have her with us on the 14th of February. We definitely recommend Joey, she's great :)

Joey played for our wedding and was wonderful the time leading up to the wedding, with ideas and proactively asking for song list. On the day she was amazing it sounded wonderful and was very flexible with playing time and areas to play. She understood our music taste and the time of the event for diffrent music and worked out lovely. Joey made our wedding feel so much more special!

I booked Joey to accompany a proposal in London and she added more to the experience than I could even have imagined. Her playing was beautiful and making all the arrangements was simple, collaborative, and - very importantly - stress free. Even when we had some last minute logistical challenges, Joey coped much better than I would have had I been left alone to deal with them - something which was massively appreciated. Joey’s playing is and will remain a massive part of how we remember the day every time we think about it and both of us could not have been happier. Thank you and I hope we have an excuse to hear Joey again one day!

Do you have different line-up options?

I usually do solo acts, but can accommodate different options, such as playing duets with violin/ piano/ cello etc!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will do my best to accommodate the new schedule. Ultimately, my goal is to work with you and accommodate your needs to the best of my abilities, while also considering my own schedule and commitments. Just let me know and we can find a solution that works for both of us.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually arrive 45 minutes to an hour before the performance time. However the actual set-up time will take no longer than 15-20 minutes!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I've curated my set lists over numerous performances, tailoring them to guarantee that everyone at your event not only enjoys themselves but also hits the dance floor. However, I'm more than happy to have a conversation and work together to ensure that the music aligns perfectly with the atmosphere you want for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument and PA system to play acoustically/electronically.
