Latest reviews of our Ceilidh Bands in West Sussex

"A huge thank you to David and the band for all their efforts to ensure my 30th birthday ceilidh went off without a hitch! The communication throughout was excellent, David made sure I was really happy with the setlist and general format of the evening and on the night we had everyone up and dancing, including first-time ceilidh dancers! Opening the dancing with David playing the pipes really set the scene for an excellent evening of all the traditional ceilidh tunes. You can't beat live music at a party and all the guests said how much they enjoyed it. I can highly recommend David and the band for a professional, friendly and very high quality service!"
Alexandra hired Buchanan Ceilidh Band (BCB) for a Private event (available in West Sussex)

"David was brilliant from beginning to end! He listened to my requests and put them into action, used gender neural language as requested, contacted the venue himself ahead of time rather than needing me to be the middle man the whole time. It made all the difference knowing he was sorting things out himself! The music was fab, from surprise bagpipes to folk songs and classics. Lovely group of guys, fantastic music, highly recommend to anyone wanting to throw a ceilidh! Thanks David! "

"David and the band were absolutely amazing at our wedding in Sept 2025. They really got everyone up dancing and were do much fun - everyone had loads of fun and were so complimentary of the band. David was also so responsive ahead of the wedding and really put me at ease that everything would be set up and run smoothly. Thanks so much for making our wedding so memorable and fun!"
