Irish Nights The line up for this is: vocals, guitar, fiddle, mandolin and accordion. Shenanigan play a mixture of romantic ballads, foot tapping party songs & some driving jigs & reels. The aim is a tempting mixture of material from the traditional to "The Pogues" & "Saw Doctors". Expect to hear: Dirty Old Town, Fields of Athenry, I Used to Love Her, Irish Rover, Whiskey in the Jar, Wild Mountain Thyme, Wild Rover & of course those Jigs & Reels. Shenanigan provide a traditional line up for Barn Dance/Ceilidhs. We can entertain at your function, providing both Caller, who will give you all the instructions & musicians to keep your feet tapping. The Band line up for ceilidh is: Accordion/Key boards, Fiddle/Mandolin, Whistles/Flute, Guitar/Bass. The repertoire includes a selection of fast & slow dances that cater for all ages and abilities. Ceilidhs/Barn Dances are a hit for weddings and parties.

First class talented musicians, who provided a very authentic performance. Very collaborative, adapatable and flexible. A pleasure to work with on the run up to the event, and during the event itself. I would not hesitate to use them again for similar requirements and thoroughly recommend them.

Excellent night provided by Shenanigan. A very amateur reeling audience but the caller still managed to pull together some excellent dances. Overall, very professional and entertaining. Would recommend!

A fantastic evening made so special by Shenanigan’s music and dance calling. All of our friends have said this was the best party they have been to so well done and thank you to all the band. The band sound was fantastic which created an atmosphere where everyone wanted to dance. We’d just like to do it all over again!

What a fantastic duo, David and Simon were amazing The music and singing was just what was needed. david was great, found out about my mum and added it into the evening. They played all the traditional Irish songs that we remembered our Dad singing, brought a lump to our throats We are all so very happy and grateful. And most of all you made our mothers 90th birthday so very special and all the family and friends Thank you so much a really terrific service, which we shall definitely use again The Cullen family

Hi Simon, what can I say?? you lot are amazing , we were already having a fantatstic day, then Shenanigan turned up and took it to another level! Everybody loved it and a few have already asked for your details for future bookings, which of course i have passed on. is there anywhere I can leave a review for you? Also, you played a song, the first one of the night , just after you set up before me and Tanny had our first dance,what was that song? Thanks again Simon to you and the rest of Shenanigan for helping to make such a wonderful and unforgettable day for me, Tanya and all our friends and family. Tony

we just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you for playing at our wedding. You guys were fantastic! We still have guests saying how much they enjoyed listening to you. Many are asking where they could see you again - where's the best place for us to find out where you are playing? On a personal note, I'd also like to thank you for being so flexible! It was great knowing that you would all be ok setting up in the hall when we realised the rain was here to stay! Just one text to you in the morning, and I could enjoy the rest of my time getting ready. Also, when all the guests arrived so early as the weather meant we spent less time at the church. You guys were so unfazed. Everyone has said that they enjoyed the wedding as it was so relaxed and fun - thank you for helping us create the day we wanted!
