The band was started in 2010 so now we have been playing together for 11 years. We’ve come a long way in that time. Karn (Vocals, Guitar/Bouzouki), Roland (Piano), Rhiannon (Violin) and our Caller Jenny have joined Martin (Whistles) to form a tight line up suitable for pubs, parties and Ceilidhs. We’ve learned our trade as we went and our range of tunes and songs now covers all the traditions of these islands ranging from full on Irish for St Patrick’s day to a number of what we term “off piste” numbers such as My old man’s a Dustman, I'm a Cider Drinker and even The Nightingale sang in Berkeley Square. We always aim to tailor the repertoire to the event and we can guarantee an entertaining evening. If you would like to hear us play before you book us we host regular sessions on the evening of the first Sunday of the Month in the Crown in Newick.

OK but not brilliant. Nice people. Said by audience: 'rather same-ish' 'droned on' 'great to have live music' Lack of variety of instruments. Lacked wind instrument. When I enquired 'he's ill today' Singing was not clear from the rest, maybe just the amplification was poor quality. They turned up with too short an extension lead. The performance didn't really compare with the attractiveness of recordings on the net, Wouldn't recommend. Sorry

Sometimes particularly at birthdays or weddings, clients may require an additional set in a different genre to our usual Ceilidh offering. This could be a Jazz set or a Covers set. There is an additional charge for this as we may need to involve additional musicians

Can you perform covers?

Yes - we can do a set that's half Ceilidh Half covers. There is an additional charge for this as we

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we can perform as a five piece or a trio with or without a caller. If you would like to add other genres such as covers or jazz we can accomodate you but there may be additional charges if extra musicians are involved.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know. We know that catered events often don't run to time and it's our job to work with your other suppliers to deliver a smooth result

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free

Usually an hour

Do you provide a caller?

Yes, our caller Jenny is brilliant with Novice dancers but as a retired infants head, she can be quite strict. Non dancers risk getting a detention. However the band will stick up for miscreants
