Latest reviews of our Wedding Violinists in St Albans

"We was so happy to find Eloise as our violinist pulled out last minute. She was very punctual and professional. She played brilliantly. We could not fault her. All our wedding party did nothing but praise Eloise. She played right through from ceremony to end of our breakfast. She played “Sweet Caroline” last and everyone was singing along which got everyone in the mood for the evening. I would recommend Eloise to anyone she really did make our day extra beautiful "

FAQs about hiring Wedding Violinists in St Albans
Take the stress out of hiring musicians with Encore
What kind of music can a violinist play?
Pretty much anything! Violinists will usually be most comfortable playing classical music, but that doesn't mean they won't be able whip up fresh renditions of your favourite pop, folk, or jazz tunes. Best to check first before asking them to play krautrock though.
Will I need to provide the violinist with any equipment?
Other than a seat for breaks, probably not. If your venue is small, they will likely play unamplified. All they'll need to make the music happen is their violin, a bow, and a receptive audience (oh, and probably a music stand). If your venue is larger, they should be able to provide amplification.
Do violinists normally play with backing tracks?
It depends. If you only want the violinist’s performance to include classical pieces, they probably won’t need backing tracks. If the violinist’s performance includes pop songs or other styles, they may be able to provide backing tracks to fill out their performance. They’ll often perform the melody line of popular tunes, alongside pre-prepared backing tracks (think: ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran, or ‘Skyfall’ by Adele - these songs sound great played on violin!).
