Naomi Wilmshurst

Naomi has performed in prestigious venues across the UK and in Mexico, Spain and Germany. Past clients include ITV, Premier League Productions, Peugeot, JetBlue, The Voice Mexico and a wide range of smaller companies and private clients. Venues Naomi has played in include the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, SSE Wembley Arena, House of Lords and Berlin Philarmonie. With an MA in Violin Performance (distinction) from Trinity Laban, Naomi has a high technical musical ability, which she combines with a love of a wide range of genres and cross-genres, providing a fresh, modern twist to her events. She has formed part of ensembles such as the National Youth Orchestra, the Junge Kammerphilarmonie Berlin, Sinfónica UACM and ORFINAMEX (Mexico City), and has worked with producers such as Vladimir Suarez (Latin-Grammy nominated), Live Sessions Mexico and Juan Romagosa (The Voice Mexico). Currently based in London, Naomi is working as an events and session violinist in a wide range of events including weddings, proposals, conferences, parties and other corporate and private events. She has also toured with Bollywood stars such as Salman Ali (Indian Idol winner), Navin Kundra and Sunny Hindustani. Naomi's shows are comprised of solo acoustic or electric violin performance accompanied by tracks with a wireless microphone, ensuring free engagement with the audience. Naomi plays a wide range of styles including Pop, House, Electronic, RnB, Rock, Latin, Classical, Jazz, and Bollywood, providing the perfect backdrop for any occasion. Available to hire as a soloist or a duo with piano, guitar, violin/electric violin or DJ, in string quartet or with an existing DJ or band.
