"I had to hire a musician for a very sensitive very personal birthday celebration in hospital for someone that I loved earlier. It was a very specific brief and the songs are very specific and it was really difficult to choose. As I’m sure is the case with everybody when there’s so much choice that can be incredibly overwhelming and especially when it’s such an important and personal and emotional event you just so desperately want to get it right. PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our singing guitarists are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our singing guitarists will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
