Rob was a joy to work with, communicative and accommodating of our needs for our party for 70 people. He arrived on time, and was ready to start as our guests arrived. He was also happy to incorporate our song preferences into his set - which he delivered brilliantly, despite a less than ideal venue for acoustics. Great song choices and a fabulous performance that enhanced a special evening for us all. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed having Rob at our wedding. He was initially very discreet playing music in the background for us at our wedding breakfast before engaging with us all and getting us up to dance. He has a wonderfully deep and moving voice. Rob is such a musically talented man and provided us with a great variety and breath of music meaning all generations could engage with it. We cannot recommend him enough and will definitely be booking him again in the future. Encore bookings are super lucky to have him on their records. Thank you Rob we think you are an amazing talent !

Booked Rob for my wife's 50th Birthday party. A private event in a marquee attended by over 100. Rob was brilliant and helped to create a great atmosphere bursting to life with Sweet Caroline. A fantastic night was had by all. Would absolutely recommend.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Generally my good energy and the laid-back and soulful vibe I bring to the room. People seem to love to hear me sing!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

All over London in members clubs, up skyscrapers and various historical buildings. Around the country in large corporate spaces and wedding venues. Though, in my opinion (and weather permitting), you can't beat a good garden party. Food, drink & live music - it doesn't get much better than that.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

The great Soul singers of the 60's/70's! Although my favourite tune of all time is Diamonds On the Soles Of Her Shoes by Paul Simon.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I once performed in the garden of No.10 Downing Street!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm always happy to accommodate timing changes. Just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate in any circumstance.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can play music through my speaker before and between sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

30 mins, but I like to set-up at least an hour prior to performance time.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Generally, I ask for a few favourites from my repertoire and can tailor a set-list to suit, but I am more than happy to let the client take as many requests as they like from my Songlist.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I have all the equipment needed for my solo performances, including spares/replacements in case of fault.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I am always happy to learn special requests when time allows, but this must be arranged before-hand and special conditions may apply (though I don't usually charge!).
