Cydney Brown

I’m a full-time gigging vocalist and guitarist, living on a narrowboat on the outskirts of Bristol. I was born in Orpington, Kent where I started to sing at 7 years old and had my first solo performances at the Dominion Theatre and Theatre Royal Dury Lane at 8/9 years of age. I then spent my teenage years+ growing up in South Devon, where I taught myself to play guitar and started to write my own music. I have played many events over 12 years of gigging, including evening dinner parties for Ferrari, charity events for FatFace, wedding ceremonies, receptions and upbeat private parties. I've also been very lucky to have supported some amazing musicians a long the way, including The Feeling, George Ezra, Donovan Frankenreiter, JP Cooper, Dave Mcpherson and Sam Duckworth ('Get Cape Wear Cape Fly'). Being an acoustic singing guitarist, I can be quite versatile to suit most audiences- whether it be fun, classic sing-a-longs for an energised crowd, beautiful songs to bring a tear to your eye or just simply some background music to create a chilled atmosphere. I love to play at weddings, and have sang for many a bridal entrance and first dance. I've also been asked to learn personal songs for the happy couples and love to help make their day extra special. I regularly play bars, restaurants, clubs and pubs and have a huge range of cover songs in my repertoire. Most recently I’ve just spent a month in the French Alps playing for Aprés Ski bars and clubs and 5* hotels across the 3 valleys, as well as Switzerland.
