"Visitors from overseas with a poorly planned surprise proposal in mind, and Raffaele made it the most magical day of our lives. On a blind whim, I tried Encore one morning, requesting violin renditions of two (very unconventional) songs for a surprise proposal. Raffaele was the first to respond and oblige, and we planned everything for the following day. At the last minute, we found ourselves heading to Richmond Park -- so I asked Raffaele to perform on the very same day, with the two songs requests, along with a change of location, on only 2 or 3 hours notice -- and he did it!!! I still don't know how he managed to pull it off, but he did, and his renditions were magnificent! We'll never forget that day, it was like something out of the movies.
