Folk Bands for hire in Maidstone
Latest reviews of our Folk Bands in Maidstone

"We had a great experience booking Holly to play at our wedding! She managed to find a different partner when it turned out Swerve was unavailable, and was very professional and communicative throughout the booking process. They were both very accomodating on the day and most importantly were brilliant musicians who played some lovely music that was very much enjoyed by our guests. Highly recommend!"

"There honestly are not words to describe how wonderful Ben and Richard are! We hired them to play our wedding in the Lake District, and not only did we get a wonderful folk duet, but we also got the unexpected treat of a Ceilidh dance! Everyone had an absolute ball, and hasn’t stopped raving about it. The epitome of professionalism and just the loveliest people too. It was more than we were expecting. We honestly can’t thank you enough! "

Can any folk band play my favourite song?

How much time do folk bands take to set up?
Your folk band will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the folk band prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our folk bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our folk bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
