Hailing from Hastings on the South Coast of England, Tom crafts heartfelt songs from everyday life, with a softly understated vocal style underpinned by a mix of Merle Travis style fingerpicking and country flatpicking.

The Tom Cole band surpassed all my expectations. They are really nice guys. I left it to them to chose what they performed and wasn't disappointed! My party guests loved them and kept asking how I found them. I wanted a different to the norm sound/performance and got it. They managed to get nearly everyone (there's always 1!) up and dancing/jumping up and down! I would highly recommend them. 😁

Do you have different line-up options?

The Tom Cole Band can be booked as a duo with two vocals, acoustic guitar and violin, or a trio with double bass as well. Tom can also be booked solo via the Tom Cole page.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just let us know. The majority of the time it won't be a problem.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We have bluetooth and headphone jack connectivity for our PA system if you'd like to connect your own device. Or we can put on a playlist for you.

How much time do you need to set up?

1 hour is plenty

Can you roam around while you perform?

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

By all means let us know if there's anything you'd like included in set. Do let us know ahead of time though so that we have time to rehearse them, some songs get played more than others.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

PA system and all musical is equipment is included. We don't provide lighting.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there's a particular song you'd like, do let us know. If it's a song that fits the style we play, and the event is isn't particularly soon, we'll be happy to learn it for you. Additional songs, or songs very much outside our style, will be £100 for time spent learning and rehearsing.
