"Adding a violinist to our wedding was a last minute decision. First off, I think I was lucky even to find someone who had availability on a Saturday, 2-weeks before the wedding! But what I now know I was truly lucky for, was that Jools was the violinist who was available. He was quick to respond and made us feel completely at ease. He learned a song for our aisle song with little short notice, and even though we decided last minute to change it to something else, he was completely understanding. What kind of music can a violinist play?
Pretty much anything! Violinists will usually be most comfortable playing classical music, but that doesn't mean they won't be able whip up fresh renditions of your favourite pop, folk, or jazz tunes. Best to check first before asking them to play krautrock though.
Will I need to provide the violinist with any equipment?
