Music has been a massive part of my life since I first picked up the violin at the age of 5. 14 years, 8 grades and a diploma later and I still have the same love for the instrument and performing! I have played for National level orchestras, currently play for the 1st violins at the City of Birmingham Youth Symphony Orchestra and for the Uni of Birmingham as well. I've performed at Symphony Hall, The Royal College of Music, Cadogan Hall and multiple smaller venues. I’ve played at weddings for several years along with various other music events. I relish the opportunities to share my skills and passion. One of my unique attributes is my deep understanding of music which allows me to play with lashings of feeling, as well as loving the special feeling when playing for people and bringing smiles to faces. I also play piano and bass guitar in bands. I love and can play all genres of music from Mendelssohn to Bon Jovi. To personalise your event and being lucky enough to have perfect pitch, I can perform requests for your favourite songs (even as late notice as the day itself!), either on Piano as well as on the violin. I find mixing classical tracks with modern music makes the event more diverse musically and I have an extensive set list of both, but am happy to focus on your requests, As a young musician I add a vibrancy to your event. I have a natural flair and playing style, never using music and engaging with my audience. There won't be a dry eye in the house! I look forward to helping you plan your event, Dan.

From the moment we enquired with Dan we knew he would be perfect for our wedding day. Dans communication was great and always available for any questions and replied quickly. On our wedding day Dan played for our ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Dan was open to guests requests and even played a song on the spot from just listening to it for a few moments, which amazed our guests. Our registrar and venue both commented on how good Dan was to us and asked where he was from and where we found him for future customers. I would recommend Dan ever time to anyone who would want a Violinist. He was amazing and made our day even more special

Communication with Dan was excellent from the start. He played us the main song my sister wanted before booking. He turned up before the registrar. Beautiful performance which brought us to tears of joy and reflection as our mum passed away in September. My only regret was I didn’t thank Dan face to face as I got swept away with the wedding. Thank you so much Dan The story: I wanted to surprise my sister with a violinist for her wedding ceremony. I asked the musicians if they could play a particular song. In the meantime I told my sister and she said she didn’t want a violinist. Dan sent us a video of him performing the song. His music convinced us all and I booked him. Highly recommend

Do you have different line-up options?

At the moment its just me :)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will be as flexible as possible to ensure your event is a success. Once the booking is confirmed, I will remain in contact with you as required.

How much time do you need to set up?

I will always arrive in plenty of time for the event to make sure my instrument is tuned and everything I need is in place. My set up time is minimal, 5 minutes is ample.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I am open to suggestion for any song you require, whether on the set list or not. I can play most classical or pop pieces from memory, and given notice I can learn whatever pieces you would like.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes: its just me, my violin and a small amplifier for backing music if required.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I can learn anything you want to a very high standard - I consider it a challenge! :)
