Dan Haves

Music has been a massive part of my life since I first picked up the violin at the age of 5. 13 years, 8 grades and a diploma later and I still have the same love for the instrument and performing! I have played for National level orchestras, currently play for the 1st violins at the City of Birmingham Youth Symphony Orchestra. I've performed at Symphony Hall, The Royal College of Music, Cadogan Hall and multiple smaller venues. I’ve played at weddings for several years along with various other music events. I relish the opportunities to share my skills and passion. One of my unique attributes is my deep understanding of music which allows me to play with lashings of feeling and not look like a robot! I also play piano and bass guitar in bands. I love and can play all genres of music from Mendelssohn to Bon Jovi. To personalise your event and being lucky enough to have perfect pitch, I can perform requests for your favorite songs, either on Piano or Violin. In the past I have played "The Scientist" by Coldplay, "Marry You" by Bruno Mars and "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. Followed by "Lark Ascending", "Chanson de Matin" and "Czardas". I find mixing classical tracks with modern music makes the event more diverse but am happy to focus on your needs. As a young musician I add a vibrancy to your event. I have a natural flair and playing style, never using music and engage with my audience. There won't be a dry eye in the house! I look forward to helping you plan your event Dan .
