Dan Haves

Music has been a massive part of my life since I first picked up the violin at the age of 5. 14 years, 8 grades and a diploma later and I still have the same love for the instrument and performing! I have played for National level orchestras, currently play for the 1st violins at the City of Birmingham Youth Symphony Orchestra and for the Uni of Birmingham as well. I've performed at Symphony Hall, The Royal College of Music, Cadogan Hall and multiple smaller venues. I’ve played at weddings for several years along with various other music events. I relish the opportunities to share my skills and passion. One of my unique attributes is my deep understanding of music which allows me to play with lashings of feeling, as well as loving the special feeling when playing for people and bringing smiles to faces. I also play piano and bass guitar in bands. I love and can play all genres of music from Mendelssohn to Bon Jovi. To personalise your event and being lucky enough to have perfect pitch, I can perform requests for your favourite songs (even as late notice as the day itself!), either on Piano as well as on the violin. I find mixing classical tracks with modern music makes the event more diverse musically and I have an extensive set list of both, but am happy to focus on your requests, As a young musician I add a vibrancy to your event. I have a natural flair and playing style, never using music and engaging with my audience. There won't be a dry eye in the house! I look forward to helping you plan your event, Dan.
