Based in Warwickshire, Jools is a highly sought-after violinist with over three decades of professional experience. 2025 has marked his busiest year to date, defined by a dynamic schedule of solo engagements and high-profile performances with country and folk ensembles.   Most recently, Jools has been touring nationwide as a featured violinist for the bands within the ‘Summer in Nashville’ festival. This extensive run has seen him perform to crowds of 9,000 to 12,000 people in locations ranging from the Isle of Wight to Aberdeen and Dundee. His schedule also included a prestigious performance in Dubai and is set to continue with further festival dates booked throughout 2026. His collaborative work this year also saw him perform at the legendary Cropredy Festival, further cementing his reputation within the live music circuit. When not touring with bands, Jools specialises in creating enchanting musical atmospheres as a solo artist. Whether performing at weddings, art exhibitions, or events in prestigious stately homes, he brings a touch of elegance to every occasion. Jools comes equipped with a high-quality, compact PA system which offers a small visual footprint ideal for historic or intimate venues. However, for larger events, he is fully equipped to integrate seamlessly into house systems to deliver a wide-reaching, expansive sound. His extensive repertoire spans classical masterpieces, contemporary pop hits, smooth jazz, and traditional folk tunes. Jools prides himself on a bespoke service, working closely with clients to personalise music selections. Beyond his solo work, Jools boasts an impressive career history including national television appearances and collaborations with musical legends. His legacy credits include performing in Susan Boyle’s orchestra on The X Factor, features on The Gadget Show, and performing with Horace Panter (The Specials). Today, he maintains this collaborative spirit, performing regularly with a Shania Twain tribute band (on both violin and guitar), acting as a dep multi-instrumentalist (violin and guitar) for established folk ensembles, and performing with noted country and bluegrass groups.
