Violinist

Hi, I am Karolina. Violin is my life - my passion and best friend since I began my musical journey. I have studied violin in Poland and in UK. Often I get asked what is my favorite song or a composer. A true answer to that doesn't exist - there are just too many great pieces.. I truly enjoy almost every kind of music with a huge passion for classical, jazz, pop, funk and soul, Indian, oriental, Arabic feel. I have started performing in public at the age of 14 as a young violin student. Now, I love sharing my passion and skill with those who need my service. I can create a bespoke song list just for event that you need - every single detail matters and I love leaving smiles on my audience faces. That is a great reward for me! Hope to see you soon!

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients love my music choices, arrangements, my stage appearance and overall professionalism. I always give my 100% so I know I leave great memories for my audience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Great British Museum in London, Symphony Hall Birmingham, London Fashion Show(Kensington Hotel), Derby Roundhouse, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, Kuwait 360 Mall, Salhia Complex, Grand Botanical Suite Birmingham.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

That is the hardest question I always get. A simple answer to this is:the is not just one.Of course I am highly influenced by classical composers including Bach,Mozart, Beethoven,Debussy and more more. Although I have a special place in my heart for jazz (Robert Glasper, Duke Ellington, Pat Metheny, Bob James),funk, souls, reggae, pop, bollywood and more!!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

To be honest, they all meant a great deal to me - so it is really hard to pinpoint a specific event! I just love getting ready and perform!

Do you have different line-up options?

I can perform on electric violin upon a request.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know. Also it depends if I have any additional bookings on that days as that can sometimes happen.

How much time do you need to set up?

I don't need much time to set up - usually it takes me a few up to 15 minutes.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set list is just exemplary - there are some extra pieces that as a musician I already know. Generally after a phone call conversation with customer, we come to an agreement regarding songs. If customer is not sure of which songs to choose I am happy to perform pieces of certain genre or mix genres to suit the occasion.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically or connected to PA.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

When a song is NOT included in our song list there may still be a chance that I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn, I would be happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £50/song or this service to take into account arranging time, creating backing tracks, rehearsal times, etc.
