Latest reviews of our Wedding Violinists in Preston

"We got married at Browsholme hall on Saturday with Gaynor playing the violin for our ceremony in the beautiful barn. Gaynor was absolutely incredible, she was so helpful and accommodating throughout the booking process, and she took the time to learn and perfect all of the music we requested, some of which she won’t have played at all before! Gaynor was faultless, her music was unbelievable and brought tears to many of our guests eyes. The rest of the day was spent with guests raving about her talent and the beautiful performance she gave. We’ll certainly be recommending her for our friends’ future weddings and wouldn’t hesitate to book her for any future events. My only regret is not booking her for longer! Thanks again so much Gaynor, you were such a wonderful addition to our perfect day, and your version of Taylor Swift’s Enchanted for my entrance was better than I could ever have imagined! Xxx"

"Jordan played at our wedding on Saturday and we could not recommend him more! He played so beautifully and all of our guests commented on how excellent he was. Jordan paid close attention to detail and played songs we had asked for. He was incredibly professional and added so much atmosphere to our day. There was not a dry eye in the house once he started to play. We cannot thank you enough! "
Ross hired Jordan Garbutt for a Wedding (available in Preston)

"Absolutely fabulous! Gaynor played at my 80th birthday party, in our own home. She arrived giving herself plenty of time to prepare herself, was extremely professional and our guests were delighted. Everyone commented on her choice of music (I left her to decide) and how beautifully she played a variety to suit all. I would recommend Gaynor for anyone's event as she is very versatile and has a lovely personality. I was very fortunate to discover her. "

FAQs about hiring Wedding Violinists in Preston
Take the stress out of hiring musicians with Encore
What kind of music can a violinist play?
Pretty much anything! Violinists will usually be most comfortable playing classical music, but that doesn't mean they won't be able whip up fresh renditions of your favourite pop, folk, or jazz tunes. Best to check first before asking them to play krautrock though.
Will I need to provide the violinist with any equipment?
Other than a seat for breaks, probably not. If your venue is small, they will likely play unamplified. All they'll need to make the music happen is their violin, a bow, and a receptive audience (oh, and probably a music stand). If your venue is larger, they should be able to provide amplification.
Do violinists normally play with backing tracks?
It depends. If you only want the violinist’s performance to include classical pieces, they probably won’t need backing tracks. If the violinist’s performance includes pop songs or other styles, they may be able to provide backing tracks to fill out their performance. They’ll often perform the melody line of popular tunes, alongside pre-prepared backing tracks (think: ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran, or ‘Skyfall’ by Adele - these songs sound great played on violin!).
