Katie is a vivacious and fun violinist who can provide violin music for any type of event. Katie graduated from Manchester University with a BMus and since then has had a successful career teaching music and directing choirs across the North West of England. Katie has a burning passion to perform and regularly takes to the stage as a solo violinist. She plays with high quality backing tracks, and appeals to audiences of all age groups with her flexible choice of repertoire. During her career as a musician Katie has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, live on BBC television and was resident violinist on the Granada Studios Tour providing entertainment at public and corporate events. Katie will consider any type of event although her music is particularly suited to weddings, parties and corporate functions She doesn't have a set fee as she is willing to negotiate with clients on an individual basis.

There will never be enough words to explain how amazing Katie was at our wedding! From playing as I walked down the aisle, after the ceremony & during the drinks reception each element was just perfect we couldn’t have wished for any better! Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

I can provide a full Irish set, or a set specific for an Italian restaurant. I have started to source Bollywood tunes to add to my repertoire.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I would always try and accommodate clients if time allowed.

How much time do you need to set up?

15 minutes. My equipment is wireless and I am able to play indoors or outdoors in dry weather.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

You are welcome to pick whatever you like from the set list. I also welcome new suggestions and will research them and advise you if they are suitable for solo violin.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I bring all my own equipment.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song doesn't appear in my set I am more than happy to include it. I just request you give me notice so I am able to source and learn the music.
