Born in Hampshire, Eleanor began playing the violin aged 6 and went on to successfully audition for one of 12 places on the Hampshire Specialist Music Course where she studied with Daniel Bhattacharya. After graduating from The University of Nottingham in 2016 with a first class honours degree in Music, Eleanor held a teaching position at Oakham School in Rutland where she taught academic music as well as assisted in the running of many of the school's musical ensembles. She is now currently based in Manchester where she is continuing her development through postgraduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music with Pavel Fischer. A keen orchestral musician, Eleanor has been privileged to work with internationally acclaimed conductors and artists. During her time at The University of Nottingham, Eleanor led both the University Sinfonia and Philharmonia, conducted by Jonathan Tilbrook, a highlight being leading the orchestra for Saint Saens' cello concerto with Natalie Clein. Eleanor was recently given a place in a side-by-side concert with The Hallé under the baton of Sir Mark Elder. In March 2018, she was invited to work with Markus Stenz on an exciting project with the Paris Conservatoire commemorating 100 years since the end of World War I, which culminated in performances at the RNCM in Manchester, Cadogan Hall in London and the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique in Paris. Eleanor is also passionate about musical theatre and regularly plays for shows. In 2017, she began playing with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra through which she has performed in Bernstein’s Candide at Cadogan Hall and Mack & Mabel at the Hackney Empire Theatre starring West End performers. Other highlights have included The Phantom of the Opera and Miss Saigon. Eleanor plays on a William Szott violin made in 2017.

Eleanor played at our wedding at Wollaton Hall in September 2023 - everything was perfect! Eleanor arrived on time and had co-ordinated all song choices with us beforehand. Having a live musician was one area we stretched ourselves to splash out and we were not disappointed! Many of our guests specifically called out how much they enjoyed her music and how professional she was. Eleanor even took the time to learn a few unique songs to us and our day, these made the day even more special. We loved every minute. Thank you. I couldn't recommend Eleanor more!

Eleanor played for a production of ours recently, and is a first-rate musician. It is the first time - and I hope not the last - that I have heard her perform. She is an outstanding violinist who plays magnificently and with confidence. Her skill and excellence brings unequivocal pleasure when listening to her exceptional performance. I would highly recommend her. Her professionalism, talent, and prowess are incomparable. And what a lovely person on top of all that!
