Latest reviews of our Wedding Violinists in Basildon

"Christinel was simply amazing. I booked for him To play during my wedding ceremony and although I didn’t see him much (as I was busy getting married), I heard him play the most beautiful violin. I had booked a pianist also who Christinel was happy to play alongside. My guests said how wonderful he was and I will never forget the part he played on my day. Thank you so very much. You’re very talented "

"We made the right decision working with Jessica. Obviously, she is incredibly talented - able to cover range of songs including new tracks we requested which sounded better than the original! She was also very professional, able to deal with all the necessary queues, and even improvising during unforeseen changes to our schedule. Her performance were also noted by a number of guests. Would absolutely recommend Jessica."

What kind of music can a violinist play?
Pretty much anything! Violinists will usually be most comfortable playing classical music, but that doesn't mean they won't be able whip up fresh renditions of your favourite pop, folk, or jazz tunes. Best to check first before asking them to play krautrock though.
Will I need to provide the violinist with any equipment?
Other than a seat for breaks, probably not. If your venue is small, they will likely play unamplified. All they'll need to make the music happen is their violin, a bow, and a receptive audience (oh, and probably a music stand). If your venue is larger, they should be able to provide amplification.
Do violinists normally play with backing tracks?
It depends. If you only want the violinist’s performance to include classical pieces, they probably won’t need backing tracks. If the violinist’s performance includes pop songs or other styles, they may be able to provide backing tracks to fill out their performance. They’ll often perform the melody line of popular tunes, alongside pre-prepared backing tracks (think: ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran, or ‘Skyfall’ by Adele - these songs sound great played on violin!).
