A keen musician from a young age, Yohane first started playing the piano soon before taking the violin as his principle study. In those years he's played in orchestras including the LSSO and participated in projects with the likes of the OAE and Southbank Sinfonia. Having spent much of his youth performing live improvisational music he eventually commenced a focussed interest in jazz, blues and fusion. Yohane has a versatile repertoire that clients enjoy at event including weddings, dinners, concerts and parties. These bookings have taken place throughout the country as well as abroad in Europe. When not performing, teaching or composing, he is a high-level church musician who plays the violin, drums and piano with programmes including Ableton, MainStage and dLive. As part of this he contributes to high profile conferences and large-scale concerts.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

For violin there is the choice of an electric-acoustic violin, either plugged into my own or the venue's sound system, or a classical acoustic violin, either unamplified or amplified with equipment provided by the venue the venue.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem! I always try to be flexible to help ensure your event runs smoothly. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just be sure to let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

I always arrive a minimum of 30-45 minutes before the performance time as this allows for some flexibility around on the day event timings.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I'm always happy to chat through the set list and make sure that it works for your event. Song requests are also welcome if made reasonably in advance of the event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Absolutely! I can both play acoustically or amplified through my portable sound system.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Certainly. This is generally no problem in advance of the event. For especially last minute requests and depending on the piece of music there may be a £30 service fee to account for rehearsal and preparation time.

Yohane was excellent!!! Massively professional & played songs I asked for outside of his set list so beautifully, you would think it was his own!! Yohane took extra steps & went out of his way to meet requests I’d made & I’m so grateful. Me & my partner were so enamoured and impressed. Would definitely recommend, pls book!!!
