"Isabella was absolutely brilliant. We were delighted to have her as the cellist for our wedding ceremony. She played some songs we requested for the ceremony (some of which our guests sang along to!) and made backing tracks for these in advance plus liaised with us on lyrics so we could get these printed for our guests. Then we chose a set from her repertoire for the drinks reception. We are also big Bridgerton fans and she learnt and played 360 by Charli xcx (which fans will remember from season 4) which was great. We would definitely hire her again for another event. Thank you Isabella! "

"Louise was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! She was really communicative and happy to play anything we asked and provided example clips throughout the year of music we requested. The clips brought me to tears! Her performance on the day was stunning and our guests thought she was amazing. Couldn't thank Louise enough! Beautiful sound - would highly recommend! "

What kind of music can a cellist play?

Just about anything! Cellists will usually be most comfortable playing classical music, but that doesn't mean they won't be able to put together a fresh renditions of your favourite pop, folk, or jazz tune. Best to check first before asking them to play Sub-Saharan reggae though.

Will I need to provide the cellist with any equipment?

Other than a seat, probably not. If your venue is small, they will likely play unamplified. All they'll need to make the music happen is their violin, a bow, and a receptive audience (oh, and probably a music stand). If your venue is larger, they should be able to provide amplification.
