Since graduating from Trinity College of Music in London, Lucinda has travelled throughout Europe, the Middle East, Russia and South Africa, performing extensively as a classical cellist. In the UK, Lucinda has performed with the British Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded live on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune,’ Jo Whiley’s BBC Radio 2 show and has made numerous appearances on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. Television work includes the X Factor,Britain's Got Talent and Strictly Come Dancing. An experienced session musician, Lucinda has worked with many high profile acts such as Rudimental,Bastille and Kodaline and she has previously recorded the live strings for the X Factor UK Tour. Lucinda is based in London and enjoys a varied and exciting freelance career.

Lucinda was absolutely brilliant . Played a number of specific songs we wanted for our wedding ceremony and blew us away as well as our guests. Her contribution to our special day was enormous, moving literally everyone (including me to tears when I heard her warming up !) she was also really great to deal with in advance of the wedding- no hassle, adaptable and pragmatic . And then delivered a truly magnificent performance . You won’t regret hiring Lucinda for your event !

Lucinda played the cello for our wedding in May 2019. Lucinda was extremely helpful and organised during the lead up to the wedding, putting together a tailored playlist for us. She played absolutely beautifully on the day - I only wish I could have stopped the ceremony to listen to more! I would highly recommend Lucinda.

Lucinda was excellent from the booking right through to the performance. Very accomodating, was willing to learn songs we asked for, and delivered a wonderful performance on the day a thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special!

Do you have different line-up options?

I can play solo cello with backing tracks or with a pianist.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I totally understand that things can change, I'll try my best to adapt this when possible.

How much time do you need to set up?

10/15 minutes

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. The only equipment I don't own personally is a PA system for larger events, but I can easily hire one if required.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely, I'll just need a little notice.
