"Rob turned our very informal family party celebrating my Scottish Mum's 100th birthday at The Falcon Hotel, into the most spectacular and highly memorable occasion for everyone. Rob's thrilling playing created such an awesome atmosphere in the warm, oak-panelled room we were almost transported to a castle somewhere the Scottish Highlands. Rob's excellent performance was later superbly complimented by his talented son, Dylan, who accompanied Rob on his drum.This musical combination added a whole new exciting dimension to the performance. I'd asked Rob if he and Dylan might let guests, especially the children see the pipes and drum at close-hand. They both engaged so easily with them all throughout the hour, alternately playing, then chatting with them about the mechanics of the instruments another. Dylan let guests (and my Mum!) to their delight, try out drum-playing themselves and Rob dismantled and discussed aspects of the pipes for interested guests. They kept everybody entertained and made a strong impression on all the guests, two in particular. A seemingly uninterested young teenager later described the guys as "cool" to his friends and my 2 yr old grandson still often walks around with a cushion under his arm 'playing the pipes' and calling himself the "Hoot Toot Man" Mum, like many of the guests is still 'floating on a cloud' as they made her so happy.What a wonderful time everyone had thanks to Rob and Dylan!"

"The band arrived in plenty of time to set up despite poor weather. They played extremely well and the sound easily filled the space. The caller was very encouraging for those with less experience and also explained the dances clearly, but and we had a wide range of dances to suit different levels of mobility. The whole evening they were faultless and I had several people ask for their details. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning an event. "
