As a solo acoustic musician based in Leicester, I’ve spent the past 8 years performing at a wide range of events, from private parties and corporate functions to pubs and live venues. Over that time, I’ve developed a style that focuses on delivering engaging, tailored performances that suit the atmosphere of each event. My sets are built around well-known rock, pop and indie songs, covering everything from classic artists such as The Beatles and The Kinks through to more modern acts like The Killers, Bastille and Oasis. This range allows me to adapt the music to the crowd, whether the aim is to create a relaxed background atmosphere or a more upbeat set where guests feel involved and connected to the music. A key part of my approach is reading the room and choosing the right songs at the right time. I aim to strike a balance between energy and subtlety, ensuring the music enhances the event without ever overpowering it. This flexibility means I’m comfortable performing in a variety of settings and can adjust the feel of the performance as the event develops. I supply all necessary equipment, arrive in good time to set up, and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
