"The Lickin' Stick quote i received was more than acceptable for the amount of people that were to play, (8) which initially made me slightly cautious but Maria at Encore and John the band leader assured me they would deliver a good show, and they certainly did. Punctual, courteous and great musicianship, and as a bonus we got a 2nd singer on the night so there were actually 9 of them on stage.(luckily our venue was 7 metres wide so could house them just fine) If you're looking for a varied repertoire of Jazz, Funk & Soul with a full sound they won't disappoint. I think the line up can vary to suit, but we had Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys, Trombone, Trumpet, Saxophone and voice M & F. Great, would happily book again!"

The lighting and overall setup looked fantastic and really added to the atmosphere. The vocals were amazing, the talent across the whole band was brilliant, and they were fantastic at reading the room and knowing exactly what to play and when.
