We specialise in weddings, private events, corporate functions and birthday parties. We travel all around the UK and internationally. Central Avenue bring a high energy and live party atmosphere to any event with a large repertoire of music that caters for a wide audience age range. You can expect a high-quality performance from our seasoned band of professional musicians. We pride ourselves on always providing an excellent service with our clients. Our line up can vary from 4- to 9-Piece in order to create the perfect musical experience for your event – which can include a Pro DJ to continue the party! Our larger band line ups include a hot brass section, with wireless Saxophone that can join and mingle with the audience on demand. We can also offer the Central Avenue Acoustic Duo – a tasteful outfit suited for a more relaxed atmosphere, such as a wedding ceremony or drinks reception. What an amazing band! The standard of the musicians was incredible, and they were so friendly and professional. They brought so much energy and fun to our wedding celebration, and they had everyone up on the dance floor throughout their sets. So pleased that we booked Central Avenue - can't rate them highly enough. Communication was excellent throughout. We recently had the pleasure of having Central Avenue Function Band perform at our wedding reception, and we can't express enough how fantastic they were! Thanks to Harry and Central Avenue Band for playing at my wedding in Seville a few weeks ago. Destination weddings are tricky enough to organise as they are so to then add flying over a 5 piece band I thought what am I doing but Harry took all the logistical requirements into his own hands, liaised with local companies for equipment hire and PA hire too. The band themselves were fab, everyone loved them! What an amazing evening had by all. Thank you again x

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We always endeavour to provide the core musicians displayed on our promotional material. However, due to additional commitments of our members, we can not always guarantee a full core lineup. If a requested musician is unable to fulfill the agreed Service, you will be notified with sufficient notice.

Do you have different line-up options?

We offer various sized event packages from a 2-Piece Duo to our 10-Piece and more. Whether you are having an intimate wedding or a large corporate event, we can provide a solution to fit in with your requirements.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We are happy to play music through our PA system when not performing. We're happy to do this completely free of charge between the live band sets and afterwards until 12-midnight.

How much time do you need to set up?

This varies between band sizes and packages but we typically need between 1.5 to 2 hours to set up and sound check. We normally need to arrive 2 hours before our first set to guarantee we are set up and sound checked. If you need us to fit in a different/earlier time please get in contact with us.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes – we provide our own PA and lighting for all events. Any bookings where Central Avenue Band musicians are required to be present at the venue for over 5 hours in total (arrival time to 12-midnight finish), a suitable hot meal should be provided for each individual musician

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are more than happy to take song requests, especially for first dances! If your request is not in our typical set list we will need at least a month prior notice before the event to ensure a strong performance. First dances come as standard for wedding bookings.
