This increasingly popular Margate based six- piece band go from strength to strength. More often seen at the choicest venues Margate, Canterbury, Whitstable and Folkestone. Soulful Classics are the staple. Jazzspirational grooves are essential plus upbeat funky numbers to bring the vibe and on the spot improvisation, 'true' stories and acid jazz flights make the cherry on top go POP! Great highs have followed their launch year where the band supported the original 'Rammer Jammer' Gino Washington. 2014 brought the exciting start of their monthly Sunday Soul Sessions at the Gulbenkian Cafe (University of Kent) as well as great support for gigs and Main Stage set during 2015s hugely popular Margate Soul Festival. Their successful introduction to Margate during 2013's One Love festival has cemented the town's love of their upbeat soul brand with regular with gigs and party nights scheduled throughout the year at Morgan's Vintage Dance Hall and unexpected 'pop ups' at the iconic Dreamland bandstand and the open air stage at the newly refurbished Folkestone Harbour Arm. “We really try not to oversell ourselves in each area and will only play one or two venues in each town. We had the pleasure of booking Project F for our wedding, and they were absolutely phenomenal! From the initial inquiry to the final encore, their communication was prompt, professional, and reassuring, making the planning process seamless and stress-free. On the big day, Project F exceeded our expectations. Their performance was electrifying, with each member showcasing incredible talent and energy that kept our guests dancing all night long. I asked Project F to play for my birthday party after seeing them play in Faversham. I actually brought my birthday party forward by 2 years as didn’t want to wait until the ‘Big 50’ to book them. They were fantastic, all my guests commented on how great they were. Upbeat, funky music ideal for dancing, singing along to or listening and admiring their talent. Ginger made it great fun with a light-hearted touch between her powerful soul lyrics. It was brilliant to listen to all the different instruments, don’t often get to dance to flute, saxophone, triangle! At times you forgot you weren’t listening to the originals. I highly recommend Project F, as would everyone at my party. We all had a fantastic time, and will seek them out again soon.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients love that we are so approachable and accommodating. Its obvious that we love what we do and love interacting with our audience.. We know how to read the room.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes always ! Our Lead Singer has never been ill. But we do have a relief singer in the wings to cover - just in case. We are a professional band so be assured we always deliver

Do you have different line-up options?

We come as a great six piece package or can add on extra horns for that full Motown blast or Big band feel

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know. Look at our reviews. That's our most frequent comment that we are lovely and flexible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. As soon as our PA is up we turn on the tunes. If you would like your own music played between sets we will play that through our PA or use one of our funky playlists and will include your songs.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Well you could, but trust us. We're a great little band that's why you booked us. If you especially love some songs on our song list, let us know and we will make sure we include as many of them as possible on the night. Equally tell us what songs you really don't like and we will avoid them.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is usually in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 16' x 12 space to perform. For large events / venues we may need additional sound/ lighting. We always suggest a consultation in these cases to ensure we achieve the best sound for your event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £120 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc
