Formed in 2019, we are a 5 piece, female led, high energy function and party band consisting of vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards & drums. Our set is focussed on soul and funk classics, playing a wide selection of songs from many different decades from 60s through to modern popular songs played with a funk edge. All 5 members of the band are experienced performers and musicians, some are successful solo performers, others are in other popular bands. What's included when you book Fit2Funk? Where to begin. My uncle wanted to book Fit 2 Funk for his 60th birthday having heard them play in Kent. He unfortunately never made it to his 60th but Fit2Funk made sure they were able to honour his wishes and play at his memorial instead. From the moment they were booked, they were incredible. The professionalism and empathy they showed during a difficult time was much appreciated and certainly helped to make things easier. Once they arrived, were set up and opened with “Play that funky music” everyone was obsessed. These guys are awesome. They sound fantastic, they are genuinely lovely people, they play all the funk classics you know and didn’t know you knew and they are the epitome of kind and professional. And very, very talented. I can’t thank you enough and look forward to hearing you play again!

What a fantastic band! Fit 2 Funk played our wedding and were just amazing. Firstly the band members were all super friendly and really know their craft, professional from the moment they set foot on the venue. The playlist was also spot on, in addition to their usual funky set, they learnt a few special songs to personalise the set for us! They were a standout part of our wedding day and everyone was talking about how much fun they’d had on the dance floor. Thank you Fit 2 Funk!

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians and singers available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our cover line-up is: Vocals, Guitar, Keys (+BV), Drums (+BV) and Bass

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £500.”

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 4m x 8m space to perform

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you.
