"Luca played cello at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception. Beforehand he accomodated our request to play a new song not on his repetoire, he also communicated with us about logistics and song choices and helped us piece everything together with timings. He was very friendly and accommodating throughout. On the day he was absolutely amazing, we loved the ambience he created and he even played trumpet for one of the songs, which was a last minute surprise that we loved. My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our singer (tenor)s are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our singer (tenor)s will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
