Jamie is currently a Masters in voice student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama studying with James Gilchrist, having previously worked as a freelance singer and composer in and around Berkshire as well as a teacher with Sing Education ltd in London. He graduated in 2021 with 1:1 in Music from the University of Birmingham. Whilst at University he sang in several prestigious choirs, including the CBSO Chorus under Simon Halsey, St Chad's and St Philip's cathedrals and BUS directed by Bob Chilcott. Before commencing his studies at the University of Birmingham, Jamie undertook a Gap Year as a Tenor Choral Scholar at Exeter Cathedral under Timothy Noon. During his first year at University he was a Tenor Lay Clerk at St Philip's Cathedral, Birmingham. He is a current NYCGB and NYCGB Chamber Choir member and also sings with Rudolphus Choir directed by Ralph Allwood MBE Jamie studied Singing at Abingdon under Andrew Yeates (Lay Clerk, St Paul's Cathedral, London) and John Cotton (Magdalene College & Christchurch Cathedral, Oxford) and led the Tenor section of Berkshire Youth Choir under Christopher Hann. Jamie has performed under Ben Parry, Bob Chilcott, Ralph Allwood and Marion Alsop during his time with Berkshire Youth Choir and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try to be as flexible as possible provided enough notice is given. As of yet there hasn't been a time where any timing changes have not been accommodated.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No

How much time do you need to set up?

I would ideally like at least 1.5 - 2hrs rehearsal time at a venue.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

We always endeavour to be flexible to the client's needs

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring all my own equipment except for any instruments needed for accompanied performances. Please note that if I provide the accompanist then any extra fees will be payable on top of the standard fees for myself.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I am always very happy to learn new repertoire for an event. Any fee includes learning costs. Please note that fees vary depending on the difficulty of the repertoire.
