"Having done a fair bit of searching for a good band for our wedding reception, I came upon Ultralight. The songs listed on the website had a great mix and sounded fantastic. When it came to the day and the live performance itself, it was even better! Superb. Sydney has fabulous vocals and they are both great musicians. Everyone at the end commented on how good they were and how much they enjoyed it. The music is so important at a wedding reception, I've been to many where it's not been good and you get a little bored. You won't get that with Jack & Sydney, trust me! I was so pleased I choose them. They're both lovely people too! Great sound, great value, good comms, turned up with plenty of time and just got on with set-up themselves on the day. Thanks so much Jack & Sydney for rounding off our wedding with such a great set!"

"I cannot explain how amazing these guys are. Firstly, the communication from Jack prior to the event is exceptional. I am a massive worrier and he put me at ease and made me feel confident that everything was under control. He even directly contacting my DJ who was from a different company to organise a plan. They arrived and set up in plenty of time, which I know was a challenge due to the location, again easing my anxiety. The sound that Jack & Sydney create is amazing, you don't need to worry that they are "just" 2 people - the sound they create is so full you'd think there were at least 5 musicians! Sydney's voice is insane, she's a beautiful soul and was so lovely with my guests! So many of my guests were asking where I found Ultralight and for their details!! If you're worried that they don't sound like their promo video, then don't be - they are insanely talented, interactive with the crowd, changed their playlist to suit the vibe as it changed. They were an addition to my party that did stretch my budget but they were worth every penny... I wish I'd hired them for 4 hours instead of 2!! They would be amazing for any occasion.... This was for a 40th birthday party with about 100 people, but they'd be great for a small family occasion to a massive wedding.... So talented, such a full sound, so professional.... I want to give them 10 stars not 5 - 5 isn't enough !! Thanks so much guys, you were an absolutely pleasure from first to last contact! "

Can any pop duo play my favourite song?
Professional pop duos will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that pop duos may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the pop duo's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do pop duos take to set up?
Your pop duo will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the pop duo prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our pop duos are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our pop duos will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
