What do your clients love most about your performances?
Our unique sound, created by our delicate blend of two instruments that you would not expect to hear together. It has been described as bright, joyful, relaxing and of course memorable.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Chichester Festival Theatre, Chichester Jazz Club, Bracklesham Ukulele Festival, The Beach Cafe Littlehampton, Concorde Club Eastleigh and more!
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Hannah loves saxophonists Sonny Stitt, Stan Getz, Dexter Gordon and Charlie Parker.
Matthew loves ukulelists Lyle Ritz, Herb Ohta San, George Formby and the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britian.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
We love performing at Chichester Jazz Club which we've been fortunate enough to play at twice.
Do you have different line-up options?
Our usual format is as a duo which provides for a bright, happy and relaxing vibe. But we do sometimes work with larger groups to create a bigger sound. We might add in a bass player and/or another horn on occasion, selecting the right player from our talented network of musicians. Please ask for more details.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
Please let us know if there are any changes to your schedule as early as possible. We pride ourselves on our flexibility but last minute changes may be difficult to implement. Please always get in touch to discuss.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
We are happy to play a playlist of music in between our sets, as well as up to 15 minutes before and after our performance. For any longer, we are happy to provide this for an additional £95/hour.
How much time do you need to set up?
Our system can take between 20-40 minutes, depending on the ease of access from our vehicle to the stage. Our system is discrete and flexible, able to squeeze into the tightest spots.
Can you roam around while you perform?
For our more relaxed performances, we prefer to keep out of the way so that you and your guests can soak up the vibes, so we'll stay in one spot so that you know where we are when you need us.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Please feel free to make as many requests as you like! As long as we have them on our song list, we'll play them! We'll also consider our past experiences to craft the perfect set list for you.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes! Please allow an area of 3x3m minimum to allow us to perform comfortably.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
We are happy to discuss this with you. Learn requests must be submitted no less than 28 calendar days before the event, and are charged at £25 per song.
