Ultralight were amazing for our wedding! Jack's communication up to the wedding and on the day was amazing. Friendly lovely people with great music. The acoustic set was magical at our drinks reception and awesome party set in the evening! Thank you!

Having done a fair bit of searching for a good band for our wedding reception, I came upon Ultralight. The songs listed on the website had a great mix and sounded fantastic. When it came to the day and the live performance itself, it was even better! Superb. Sydney has fabulous vocals and they are both great musicians. Everyone at the end commented on how good they were and how much they enjoyed it. The music is so important at a wedding reception, I've been to many where it's not been good and you get a little bored. You won't get that with Jack & Sydney, trust me! I was so pleased I choose them. They're both lovely people too! Great sound, great value, good comms, turned up with plenty of time and just got on with set-up themselves on the day. Thanks so much Jack & Sydney for rounding off our wedding with such a great set!

We would highly recommend Ultra Light. They were exactly what we after for our wedding reception. Fantastic communication, lovely people and most importantly….great music. Jack and Sydney had everyone up on the dance floor and picked different songs to appeal to different generations. Thank you both for being part of our day 😍

Sydney and Jack were recommended to fill in last minute for a 40th Birthday and they were brilliant. They were set up early, very friendly and professional and most importantly played a great variety of songs that got everyone up and dancing! They sounded amazing and were even kind enough to continue a little longer to keep the party going. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, Thank you for a great evening!

Sydney and Jack both created an amazing atmosphere at Serina last night. With their lovely acoustic and live beat play style, they had guests dancing and singing along and did a great job entertaining all the staff whilst they worked as well! 100% looking forward to seeing them again in the future.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients always seem to love our on-stage chemistry! We are a couple and put alot of emotion into our performances, especially the love songs! We have also found everyone is always amazed at the sound we can achieve with just a two piece line-up.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performances both nationally and internationally at multiple venues/ festivals. Some notable performances are at festivals such as Victorious and Reading and Leeds. Internationally we have performances at various resorts during holidays seasons.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Sydney is heavily influenced by Taylor Swift and will make any excuse to include her songs in our setlist! Jack is mainly influenced by drummer called Ash Soan. Ash has a unique touch with the drums which helps Jack creates a feel-good sound that brings life to each of his performances.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Sydney has performed at Victorious festival multiple times. Jack has performed at reading and Leeds festival and supported the likes of Louise Redknapp. Together they have performed for corporate clients across the UK.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we absolutely do. Our most popular add-on is the addition of a saxophone player, creating an epic 3 piece line up with endless Sax solo’s. We also do offer the option to add additional bass player, additional guitarist/ vocalist and a keyboard player.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We absolutely do our best to accommodate any timing changes for your event. These mostly do not incur any charges, however they can increase the quote if the changes create an earlier start time with no change to the finish time. Adding additional performance times will of course increase the quote.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes absolutely! This is provided free of charge. We also provide a playlist service between sound check and the first set, and between the last set and midnight (for evening performances only).

How much time do you need to set up?

On average we need around 90 minutes to set up and sound check. This is decreased to 30 minutes for our acoustic duo set.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We do offer a roaming option for our acoustic set. Our instruments will still be amplified via wireless connections.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes absolutely! You can go through our repertoire and hand pick an entire set list if you like!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes absolutely! There are no additional charges for equipment.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We do offer one free song request per event. This is usually used for the first dance for wedding bookings. You can also add additional song requests for a small fee. However, we do have to bear in mind that we are only a two piece line-up with limited instrumentation. Some song requests may not be achievable with our line up.
